Gas $$ Saving Tip #1

Did you ever think you'd pine for the days when gas was "just" $2.50 per gallon? With gas at or over $3/gallon, we are always on the lookout for "cheap" gas.

How can you do that? Follow our first tip in this series: Use GasBuddy.com.

GasBuddy.com (site link here) tracks prices at thousands of stations around the country (and Canada), and lists the least expensive and most expensive in each city.

One drawback from the site is that it doesn't have every town. Even the town where I live isn't among the towns followed by the site. While I don't know all the reasons, one reason might be because there are only a handful of gas stations in Haleyville. It doesn't take a lot of research to figure out where the cheapest prices are!

If you are travelling this Summer, take a few moments and visit the site. With some planning, you can usually figure out where you will need to stop for gas. GasBuddy will help you find the best prices as you go.
